An Egyptian writer, translator, and literary editor living in the UK. She studied English literature at Ain Shams University and then earned a master's degree in Creative Writing from Newcastle University in 2024. She started writing and gained popularity in the 2000s through her personal blog hadouta.blogspot. She runs the 'Kalamna' school in Newcastle, where she teaches Arabic. She has translated dozens of children's books into Arabic, including the 'Mr. and Mrs.' series and the 'All About...' series.
