Egyptian writer, journalist, and author of children’s books. She worked as a translator and teacher for children and obtained a pedagogical qualification from Paris. Upon returning to Cairo, she worked for the magazine "Al-Mussawar," then became managing editor of the children’s "Mickey" book. She specialized and excelled in writing for children and created beloved characters for them, which appeared in the comic series of her husband, the artist Ehab Shaker. The most famous of these is the "Shamsa and Dana" series, considered the finest outcome of their artistic partnership.
