(1944–2021) Egyptian visual artist, born in Port Said and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Cairo University in 1966. His works were exhibited in dozens of exhibitions in Egypt and the Arab world. He became known for his distinctive style in painting Egyptian faces, and he also worked as an illustrator for the magazines "Rose al-Youssef" and "Sabah El Kheir." His drawings adorn a large number of magazine covers and children’s stories in Egypt and across the Arab world.
