Nora Baraka is an Egyptian visual artist who graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in 2007. She also studied sociology at Ain Shams University. She has participated in numerous group and solo art exhibitions. «Zalata» marks her first foray into children›s book illustration. She created its cheerful, free-flowing drawings using acrylic paints and oil pencils.
