Egyptian author known for his short stories and novels, and especially for writing children’s stories and television series. He received a certificate of appreciation from Suzanne Mubarak in 1997 for distinguished performance in supporting children’s culture, and his film "Little Birds" won the Golden Prize for short films at the Cairo International Festival for Children’s Cinema in 2008.
