French writer and thinker. He studied science, then earned a doctorate in philosophy from the Sorbonne. He devoted his working life in France and abroad to explaining the concept of "philosophical practice" both theoretically and practically. He organizes and leads workshops and seminars introducing children—and adults—to philosophy. He has more than thirty books for children; among the most famous is "The Little Philosopher" series, published in Arabic by Dar El Shorouk and translated into more than twenty languages.
