He joined the School of Fine Arts in 1985. At the beginning of the 1990s, he decided to turn to a new medium that was then taking its first steps: virtual imagery. This choice led him to work in diverse fields such as documentary film, video games, architecture, and scenography. Today, Jacques Després works as a book illustrator and continues his reflections on space, the body, and light, exploring the unique relationships that words can weave with images.
