A writer and illustrator from Cairo, he started his passion for drawing since childhood, and his first attempts appeared in his school notebooks and small papers. This is the same path taken by the hero of this book; the story is inspired by his personal experience in discovering his love for drawing and making books. Today, Youssef works as a visual identity designer, has published three children's books, and is also a father to a beautiful daughter named Laila.
